where (size) 0 is the new 2, and 2 is the new 4. 6? the new 14.

Such is Sexiness Wash in Laundry
A must-watch for every girl who loves Anne Hathaway// Meryl Streep// ugly duckling narratives// dressing up// fashion; bags/ shoes/ clothes// making fun of the fashion industry// OTT bitchiness// drinking *bucks everyday// love stories// all of the above.
It is very inspiration in a lot of ways!

Such a brutal, brutal (but extremely hilarious) stab/ dig at the culture that is fashion. Absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed myself with this film - it was deffo better than I expected! Even though I didn't manage to read the book, and with what little knowledge I have of the Devil character, I reckon Meryl Streep did a great job with the Miranda character! I mean, "No, no. That wasn't a question.", "Go bore someone else with your questions." and the classic "That's all!"? Loves it to death! And my god, looking at those Fendi spys, Marc Jacobs and Chanel stuff just made me salivate man. I wouldn't mind being one of the "million girls (who) would kill for this [Andy's] job!". The fashion industry seems like a tough tough one to survive in, but lookie all the freebies Andy got! Plus plus, she gets to be fashionable 28-7! Which girl wouldn't dream (and kill) for a job like that? I would! But only if it came without the super bitchy office politics and needing to be on standby the whole time.

The whole Cinderella transformation thing is at play in The Devil Wears Prada:

Andy on her first day of work; Grandma skirt on//
Loves the part where Andy asserts she doesn't need new heels: "I don't need these - Miranda knows what I look like". Nigel: "But do you?"

This is my fave outfit on Anne Hathaway in the film; absolutely loves the new hair (with bangs, no less!), necklaces, the dress and the waist belt. Hathaway may not be stick thin but she looks awesome in this outfit.

Apart from Andy (Anne Hathaway), Emily is definitely my fave character. I mean, she's like the epitome of those superficial girls we love to laugh at/ love to hate.

"I'm on a new diet. I starve myself. And when I think I'm going to faint, I have a cube of cheese."

"You don't deserve it (to go to Paris for Fashion Week). For goodness' sake, you eat carbs!"

Yeah yeah yeah, I heart this movie so much I bothered to remember its lines! Haha, but they're vague and not word-for-word. So, I'm not that much of a freak! ;)
