Such a feel-good movie. At the same time, it was somewhat tear-jerking (odd, I know), memory-evoking and laughter-inducing. Most part you're just rolling your eyes at what a jerk title character is, then you start to feel for him, about how he's always pretending because being popular, he forgets how he is bla bla bla. Stereotypical stuff. But definitely tugged at my heartstrings. My god. I'm such a loser. Cry at every single touching moment. Well I didn't cry per se, but I did feel like it. Especially the part where Tucker aka Jerk gives his watch to whatsherface saying, "I've never done this before, but here's something personal." (proceeds to put watch on Kate??) And then he screams to everyone who cares to listen, "I'm whipped!" Sweet. The sweetest thing a guy can say. I guess? Oh bonus part of movie: awesome OST. Though really 'young' (no that I'm not) but really bordering on teenypoppers type of pop/ rock. Well, I'm enjoying the fact they played "Time After Time" in it.
Just another one of them sweet moments where he actually begins to fall for her.
Moral of this story: Everyone lies, so don't be afraid to tell the truth.
