Loves this gift; drinking glasses - continuum from Sober --> Paralytic!On me bday, I was upset a bit at first, cos it seemed like heaps of people forgot my big day. :( I'm being a bit sulky, simply cause of the hoo-haa and emphasis people place on 21sts. I'm really not quite bothered if not for Society. Bah. So anyways, it turned out more people in Melb (randomly) remembered! Loads of people even some I hardly talk to wished me when I was at IH! Even in Uni, bumping into some IH-ers made my day, since they showered my day with hugs and wishes. Pleasantly surprised, for sure. :) And then Sonz made it extra special for me, cos she knew how depressed and homesick I was. Thanks, hun! You're zee best mann. And yeah, I got international calls/ texts from Dad/ Mom, Sister, Cel sis, Shan, Mel, Raymond, (apparenlty) Ah Da, Gav, Mark, JACCHOO!! Definitely excited about that cos I thought she had completely forgot. She called at the last few moments of the 7th. God bless! I miss that chica, haven't seen her for nearly a year man! And yeah, of course got some texts and in-person wishes from peeps here. Very, very happy. And of course, my sickness is now full-blown once again. After all that mango cakes and champers, I guess it's not hard to guess why. Well, at least the downward spiral was awesomefun. :)
I need to nurse myself back to health and apparently the best way is to drink water and get loads of rest! Haven't been able to do that cos I have had early and full day classes since Mon (my bday). What a bummer, having to go to class on your 21st. How very exciting man. Class also very happily ended at 6, and I rushed home to prepup (I did find the perfect dress in the end! When Bardot was closing too man! Thank god!). We made it in time to dinner, and the food was fantastic. Thought my since-Thurs alcohol consumption would end but ordered another bottle of wine so had a bit of that again! Everyone was sneaky - they actually brought a cake to berth (my fave mango cake from crown bakery) and had the waiters bring it out when I wasn't paying attention! They burst into song (ala a musical; 'Happy bday', duh) and I was so shocked. It's just so sweet they even bothered bringing the cake from city to Docklands man! Apparently Jason reminded them...awww. =/
Enough about actual birth day - celebrations will last an entire week! ;) Tues I went to IH to get Krispykreams weee. But they were assorted, to my disappointment. Oh wells. Better than not having any right. Then dinner at Papa gino's lasted a good 2 and a half hours. Imagine! Such a long dinner. It was goodfood again though. Today went to class (I'm so hardworking...) then tapao-ed gyudon (teriyaki beef on rice) and bubble tea, while I had a good 1 and a half hour chat with Keith on da phone. Hope da brat's feeling ok now. Tmr Mich is coming to the city for dinner with me and Fri, Marie will! Sat is Recovery Day since it is possible tmr will be at lotusbar and fri platformone. Cheers to the impending alcohol-induced weekend! Please get better soon, Ena and argh, the voice in my head is telling me to stop blogging now too, cos it's tired of thinking. So yeah.
