Today was pretty productive - started the day getting fruits (route to a healthier me!) at Vic Market, then met up with Mark and headed down to St. Kilda's for lunch. Finally settled at grill'd, which I am very much in love with now! One of the best burgers I've tasted in Aussie (or it could've been hunger talking...) and apparently healthy too!
Yes it says "healthy burgers" all over their walls.I highly doubt it though - how healthy can burgers be?! Anyways, it was like the angmoh versh of a ramly burger - I had a chicken burger with egg mayo and sweet chilli! Very yum. Come to think of it, it tasted kinda plain, kinda healthy.
It was huge but I finished everything! At least I didn't have fries with it, it was a huge-ass pack man. Mark had it. Men and food. We headed to the Sunday Craft Market after lunch, and I ended up with a lot of 'non-necessities'. What. But they were pretty things. :) And after that, we walked to the beach for a bit of reminiscing. You know, that day in April last year. The day after the ball. The day I was super hung over. The day it was still warm. The day hweng was here!

After St. Kilda's, I headed to Crown to meet my ex-floormates for a buffet dinner @ Sante. Dissapointing. Dessert was not bad though. I crave Grecko's lah!! Dinner was good and so was catching up. The night went well til it started pouring! ARGh. How am I ever gonna get better with shit weather? Pray hard I'm not sick on me bday! One more week! ;)

I know it's a bit late to be doing entries of my last weekend in Sg, but c'mon, better late than never. I need to pen down them memories! It was an awesomeawesome last week/ skipping first week of Uni. I really appreciate the fact that my folks didn't scream or anything when they realised I was skipping class. :D Having said that, if I said the same thing yesterday, I would have started brawling. Okay, I'm feeling a little emotional so what. I think that after everything, I've finally come to realise how much my folks have done for me and my sis, and it kills me that I always took everything for granted earlier in my life.
P.S. I don't blame you if you don't read this whole post. Haha.
It was just like a Dream**
Let's start from my advanced 21st celebration @ vibe at Meritus Negara. It was a frenzy, and I was pretty disorganized (I apologize...) I have to admit. I was running around, trying to organise the seating arrangment and all whilst trying to get ready. It was quite a rush but it triggered a panic attack. Thank god Cel was there to calm me down and blow them balloons. Thanks to hweng and Dillon for stringing them together and putting them up. :) The cake was gorgeous - mom's gift to me amongst some other things. Thanks to everyone who bothered to show up, hope the food was to your liking and that you had a good time! I certainly did, loving each and every single one of them presents, be it big or small. While Ah Da Sujing Pei and Fang (1 cab) first headed to MoS, I went down to Lido (thanks hweng and dillon for walking with me!) to meet Gav, Dan and their friend. After much contemplation they decided to go to MoS too (weee!). Thanks to our new 'friend' Morris we got in for free! Hah! Credit goes to Sujing and Char. These 2 sillybillies were at Pure most of the night, so it ended up being Dan Gav and me at Smoove grooving. It was such a riot! I haven't seen Dan for like the past 2 and a half years but as soon as we met, we sorta tuned back to 'Hendrix Mode' and started making fun of people, dancing like crazyasses as we did 3 years ago. The icing on the cake HAS to be the old school hiphop songs they started playing, WEEEEHEEE. Nothing will ever beat them good ol' days.
The finished product. Door sign for me! Made this and the door gifts like just the day before the dinnerparty. It was quite mad! I can't quite remember where I put babysis and Cel's tag! Sorry, I didn't have time to look! I will end of year ok? hehe.

Yo-ho, yo-ho, a pirate's life for me.
Before Pirates, I went to Ikea with babysis. For some reason, I couldn't navigate myself to get there from the Bugis area. That pissed me off big time cos ikea is meant to be very near to town. Ended up on the highway towards Jurong. And then sis lost her temper at something, and so did I. But this is the coolest thing, we patch things up in within 30mins. At ikea, we were all chatty again. The meatballs were dope! As always. So were the chicken wings. I wish I could drive down ikea like whenever I pleased..I wanna go home.
This is the part where Orlando/ Will Turner supposedely says, "Never mind! Let's go!" in that cute Brit accent he has (not all Brit accents are cute =/) BUT they movie versh differed from the trailer! He said, "Time to go!" instead. WHAT!?!?!? All week I was waiting for that line and that could've almost been my single driving force to watch Pirates. And they CHANGED it?!?! How can?!!? Rah.
"Really ah???" Hell yeah! We are on a first-name basis with Orlando, okay!! See, he even posed with us. :D
After the movie, Eli called and asked to me to pick her and her friend up cos the DhobyGaut station was having a little 'bitchfit' (emergency evacuation thingys). After dropping Peng off, we made it to Punggol Nasi Lemak! Hell yes! yumyum!

Late lunch @ Din Tai Fung with Keith Gav and Jae, who just got in from Perth. Impromtu decision to go PartyWorld! Jac, you are missed!! We sang for like 4 hours, then we parted cos I was gonna have dinner with my fam. But sis didn't come in the end, so I guess it's not really a family dinner anymore. Thought it could've been like an advance for Dad's bday, which I won't be there for. Howells.

Midnight flight. Didn't see sis at all. Kinda sad. But she's always so busy I never get to spend any quality time with her. Lunch with mom at Compasspoint cos I needed it and couldn't afford the time to go to town. Went home, packed, and then dinner with Dad and Mom. My fave Hainanese chicken rice. Yum. It was a super delicious dinner man - had all my fave dishes!
Drooling thinking about it - I've only had one proper meal since I been back yest morning.

Literally slept like 40winks. It was such a bad flight. 2 hours of sleep the whole night, and then maybe about another 2 worth of napping when I got back. Fell terribly ill - might have been the cold wind or just the incessant crying. Didn't wanna go out cos I felt like sh*t but thanks to the girlies esp Sonz for making me forget myself, if only for a while. The music at billboard was sh*t! nextblue next time!

This is the WORST bout of homesickness I swear.
Even when I first arrived in Melb at IH last Feb, I felt ten times better than this.
In fact, I didn't even speak to my folks for like 2 months or so.
Then, I was so happy to be here, away from my family and being independent.
(Or so I thought....)
Since I've been back, I'm making sure there is music on 24/ 7, be it iTunes, the radio or leaving the TV on.
Anything that will take my mind off Thought.
But when the music fades out, all I can hear is the sound of Nothingness...
